Manchester City Boss Roberto Mancini: Barcelona's Zlatan Ibrahimovic Is "The Best Striker In Europe"
Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini believes that Barcelona’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic is one of the finest hitman in football.
With so much money to spend, City are constantly linked with big money moves for world football’s best players.
Their have been reports of City’s interest in Ibrahimovic, CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic, Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko and Real Madrid midfielder Fernando Gago in recent weeks.
Mancini is keen to strengthen his squad after barely missing out of a Champions League berth this season and with Jerome Boateng already signed this summer the Italian is keen to add more to his squad.
“Many players are linked with City, often for convenience,” Mancini told Tuttosport.
“We are used to raised prices, but in reality we cannot buy dozens of players.
“Of course we aim to strengthen. Krasic or Dzeko? One really interests us, the other doesn’t. Who? I cannot say.
“Ibrahimovic? In my opinion, Ibra is the best striker in Europe. It makes me laugh when people say he misses crucial chances.”
