Real Madrid vs Barcelona: Preview Of El Clasico – Bernabeu Stadium

Barcelona will play as the away side at the Bernabeu Stadium on Saturday as they face Real Madrid in El Clasico.

Barcelona won their last meeting against Real Madrid 1-0 last year when they clashed together at the Camp Nou following Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s second-half winning goal for the home side.

This time, Barcelona will hope to repeat the history they made when they rattled Los Blancos 6-2 in Madrid; yet, even if they do not manage to do so, then they will be trying to get the 3 points at the end of proceedings, at least.

Barcelona come up against La Liga leaders fresh from their devastating 4-0 triumph over Arsenal in the Champions League on Tuesday, but they will need to convert their hot form into a positive result in El Clasico tomorrow night.

Andres Iniesta is expected to make his return against Real Madrid after the Spanish midfielder obtained an injury late in March, but striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic could stay on the bench, as doctors have declared that he is not fully fit.

Lionel Messi will be the man with a big part of the attention for Barcelona, as he scored 4 goals in mid-week against the Gunners. Messi is the top scorer in La Liga, and a goal at the Camp Nou could seal his place ahead of the Pichichi award.

A victory for Barcelona would take them to the top of La Liga with a 3-point lead, while a draw would also send them in pole position subsequent to Head-to-Head bonuses.
